Today's big news is definitely Mars finally meeting up with Saturn in Sagittarius (♐️). This was delayed during the Spring Mars retrograde and has been a long time coming. Mars is the energy of action, and Saturn is the energy of restraint. When Mars and Saturn come together, it is the irresistible force meeting the immovable object. It is a grinding and frustrating energy and can ratchet up irritation, anger, and anxiety to high levels. While there is some relief available, it may be hard to connect to for many. It is hard to remember what's good about life when we are in the process of being triggered. Breath work and exercise can help, as can staying detached from situations that rise up, especially if they do not directly effect you. The best personal use of Mars/Saturn energy is to work on the things that you've been avoiding, and work hard.

Collectively, a storm is brewing. A famous astrologer named Dane Rudyar wrote symbolic interpretations of all of the 360 degrees of the Zodiac. The symbol of the Mars/Saturn conjunction at 10 degrees is "A theatrical representation of the golden-haired Goddess of opportunity". Rudyar said that this symbol represented "forced growth", and that "socio-cultural forces operate by dramatization and propaganda." The idea that governments and ruling elites will utilize tragic events in order to move the public towards aims the elite have mapped out beforehand is not new. Think of the Reichstag fire as a means for Nazi ascendency, or 9/11 as an excuse for beginning a "Global War on Terror" that has destabilized the Middle East to almost the breaking point.

I am not making any specific claims about who was responsible for specific events, only that events are used to push the public towards ends that don't benefit them at all at times and that part of resisting propaganda is recognizing it at the time it is the thickest. Remember that although events may be horrific and scary, it is important to critically analyze the solutions that are being pushed. Luckily, a lot of Virgo energy is available now to do just that.
